Decollete Lines

Soften and smooth sun damage on your chest

Décolleté is a pretty word for neck and cleavage and, of course, it’s a French one. The moisturising and pampering of it have been part of French women’s beauty regimen for a long time but in the UK, we’re just warming up to the notion of including this zone as part of our skincare routine.

Common characteristics of a neglected décolleté are fine wrinkling on the upper chest and in the crease of the cleavage, brown spots, thinning skin and redness. Most of these can be attributed to sun damage. Décolleté skin is thinner, has fewer oil glands and is more sensitive than the skin on the face, making it vulnerable to irritation as well as sun damage. With so much focus on anti-ageing skincare, why is it that we often neglect such an important area that ultimately will have an effect on our confidence as we age?!

Most clothing, especially in summer, tends to leave the décolleté exposed, so it gets more chronic UV exposure than most of us are aware of. This area is something we barely think about until our late 30s, when suddenly we notice something’s different and, as usual, not in a good way. Once those signs of damage become visible, many women in their 30s and 40s tend to feel as though they should just give up wearing anything revealing as the damage has been done. However, that's not true and I have treatment options to soften and smooth sun damage on the décolleté / décolletage area.

I have some great treatments to have you feeling great again when you look in the mirror.
